HOW TO GET THERE

There are regular buses to Kostelec you can plan your journey via www.idos.cz

Alternatively, we will be arranging a car pool, if you intending to come by car and have space, please let me know and I can put you in contact with someone who would appreciate the lift. This worked very well with the last retreats.

Buses leave Haje metro station every hour and the journey takes about 45 minutes.

ACCOMMODATION

There is accommodation in the chateau, you are of course welcome to stay elsewhere if you wish.

There are freshly refurbished, quiet, high-ceilinged rooms available at the monastery, I have block reserved the majority of the room. Superior rooms have en-suite bathrooms, and Economy have shared bathrooms, these are a mixture doubles, twins, two suites and a few single rooms. 

I have block reserved a large selection of the rooms at the chateau, if you wish to reserve one or more of the rooms, please let me know your requirements. There a few one bedroom units, the others are twins, doubles or triples.

The current price per person per night for accommodation in the The Chateau offers accommodation of various levels, exclusive double rooms with ensuite bathroom at about 1700 CZK/Night, double and twin rooms in the Princess Marie Tereza of Savoy wing with shared bathrooms for 450 CZK/person/night, or in the Formanka wing where there are double and twin rooms with ensuite bathrooms for 650 CZK/person/night. (All are subject to local tourist tax of 30 CZK/person/night.) Breakfast is extra and it is also possible to make your own in one of the many accessible kitchen units in the building.

The town has many restaurants and also a brewery available for evening meals and strums.

Please note that the chateau is a popular destination so we need to confirm our bookings as soon as possible.

It is not a problem if you wish to come with a partner who does not want to take part in the retreat.
